Absolutely loved Salt or Sugar in Plaka, hands down one of the best quick bites we had in Athens, especially early morning. The owner is incredibly courteous, warm, and genuinely friendly, and you feel welcomed the moment you walk up. We went for breakfast and everything was fresh, fast, and absolutely finger-licking good: flaky croissants, delicious sandwiches, fresh coffee, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a total standout. Simple food done perfectly, the kind that makes you come back again the very next day. Bonus: it’s not just breakfast. They also serve burgers and pasta for lunch, so it’s an easy go-to spot anytime you’re in Plaka. If you want great quality, great value, and even better hospitality, don’t miss this place.
