Today I gave myself an early Mother’s Day treat and I’m feeling A-MAZING!! I started at the TAFE hair training salon and I was really impressed. My hairdresser was only 16, but you wouldn’t have known it. She was confident, professional, and did a great job with my colour, wash, blow dry and straightening The TAFE salon and TAFE restaurant are right next to each other, so I literally walked out of the salon door and straight into my lunch date with Mum We had scallops on pork belly to start, barramundi with mussels for main, and a sesame mousse for dessert (this was my favourite ). Mum had a shortbread dessert with fruit and cream. Such a nice experience, and all up it was under $100 for the whole day...hair and a 3 course lunch. Honestly such a hidden gem.
