Mains were reef & beef, pork belly.were pretty ordinary & cold.
We were charged a corkage fee. No one came near us to give us any kind of service regarding our drinks we brought along.
The blow flys were thick as. 6 blow flys each, trying to share our meal. 2 flys.
It wasn't a nice experience. We had our Serviettes chasing the flys while we tried to get a mouth full of food.
They book us in on Saturday night. The problem was they closed for two weeks
So we had to go on Friday 3rd.
The senior lady was extremely rude. Got really nasty. Told me I was racist. I work with Disability & all types of nationality.
For our first visit the service, food and ambiance was faultless. Our main courses of duck and spatchcock were exceptional. This prompted us to book for a second night.
Sadly the experience was very disappointing. The service was very slow, it took over 45 minutes for our entrees to arrive. In fairness to the restaurant, we were given a complimentary entree when we complained about the wait.
The main course of Wagyu beef was over cooked, extremely salty and more like minute steak. The salmon was entree sized and, also, very salty.
Incredibly the restaurant on this occasion was quieter than the first.
Perhaps the staff work better under pressure.
