Best ice cream hands down! Over the summer (2024) we had several friends visiting HB from New York City and Boston; both towns that have the reputation of having outstanding ice cream. Everyone said the Saltwater Shanty ice cream was the best they had EVER had, and some of these folks have had a lot of ice cream. Lockwood Folly Mud and Holden Beach Sand were the favorite flavors. So do yourself a favor, and go have a treat at Saltwater Shanty. More parking in the back. Service: Dine in Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
