A gem in San Miguel! Delicious, fresh food, and great service in an intimate rooftop setting. Loved the whole evening! Some highlights on the thoughtful service: 1) Our server brought us a half portion of onion soup because we wanted to try it but it was a warm evening and didn’t want an entire bowl. 2) We wanted an a little more wine when our entrees came but not another full glass each so our server charged us for one more glass and topped both of us off. Thank you for a wonderful meal! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food was nice. The service wasn’t as bad as some reviews indicated- 3 stars in service. Wine list is very expensive, makes a return visit unlikely (most wines $2500-3000 pesos). Ambience nice for larger parties but the 2-tops are tiny and shoved against walls. Terrace leaks fiercely in the rain.

If there is a new restaurant in San Miguel de Allende worthy of a Michelin Guide star, it is apropos that it serves the best french food in town! Salvajes Brasserie hits high notes on all the essential elements: seasonal ingredients, stimulating flavors, cozy yet elegant ambiance, personalized hospitality...all par excellence!
