Juan! I just wanted to drop in and say whats up! Thank you and the Sama team for delivering such an incredible experience for our first dinner in Puerto Rico. The red snapper ceviche was so special, calamari had the best batter and came with crispy extras (cebolla/jalapeno), mejillones with the pure tomato broth was perfection. Did I mention the crispy flaky swordfish and coconut gelato dessert w/ citrus whipped creme?! All in all a very memorable first stop in this new and beautiful place. Juan, you were a delight to meet. Everything about this place is fantastic. The ambience, the view, the staff, the food. 10/10 restaurant. Everyone in my family said it was the best food they’ve ever eaten. Brazino, steak, ceviche, seafood platter all outstanding. Ordered every dessert on the menu and each one blew our minds. The waiter was amazing as well, he knew everything about the food/restaurant down to a T. Eat here while you can because once people find out about this place it will be impossible to get into. We chose this restaurant mainly because of its beautiful view, and it truly did not disappoint. The first time we went was at night, but unfortunately it was fully booked, so we came back the next day for lunch. I strongly recommend visiting during the daytime. The restaurant overlooks an incredibly beautiful, vibrant blue ocean, and the view is absolutely stunning. At night, however, you really can’t see the ocean at all, so being there during the day makes a huge difference and allows you to fully enjoy the scenery. Another important tip is to make a reservation before going. In fact, the very first line on their page mentions that reservations are highly recommended, and I completely agree with that. As for the food, it was excellent. My husband ordered the fish, and it was phenomenal. He even said it was one of the best dishes he has ever had in his life. I ordered the pasta, and it was also delicious. It was quite different from the pasta dishes I’ve tried before, which made the experience even more interesting. The flavor was amazing and I really enjoyed it. For dessert, we tried the bread pudding. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really to our taste, and we didn’t enjoy it as much as the main dishes. One issue we experienced was the waiting time. Even though we had a reservation, we waited about 10 minutes before someone came to guide us to our table. After we sat down, it took around 15 minutes before someone came to take our order. The food preparation also took quite a while, so overall there was a lot of waiting involved. However, because the food was so delicious, it made up for the long wait. I do hope the restaurant considers adding more servers in the future, as better service speed could make the overall experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. The food is fantastic and the daytime ocean view is absolutely unforgettable. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
