Samovar is pretty near Fontana della Botte. If you have never come across Italian and Spanish cuisines, you should order a table at this bar. You will enjoy its food, especially nicely cooked amuse bouches, tapas and focaccia. The best dish is good parfait. Some guests like delicious draft beer, prosecco or cordial at Samovar. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, waiters offer great cappuccino, juice or tonic.

We visited Samovar 4 times in the 3 days we were in Rome! We stayed in the Trastevere area so it was a very convenient spot to grab a drink. We walked by on the first day and saw a sign about Sarti Spritz which I had been dying to try. Needless to say, we enjoyed many many spritzes, Negronis, beer, and wine here. A great place to people watch and enjoy apertivo! I also have to mention that every person working here was incredibly kind and accommodating— we met the owner on our first visit and then had an amazing experience with the late evening staff in our subsequent visits. Alberto is an angel! On our last day we walked by and there were no outside tables left so we planned to wait— he recognized us and literally brought out a table and chairs from inside so we could sit! I couldn’t believe how kind that was! Definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the neighborhood, we can’t wait to come back. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €10–20

I told you I would write a review. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I went here as a group of 4 with my family and we kept being hassled by the waiter for a chair that my daughter occupied but briefly stepped away. We wanted to have a relaxed cool night but felt extremely uncomfortable and singled out by the staff, specifically the annoying waiter that kept coming over to ask if we needed the chair. On top of that said everyone at our table had to order a drink if we sat at the table. No one else seemed to be harassed but us. We felt so unwelcome that we just got up paid for the drinks we ordered and left to go somewhere else. Shout out to the staff at Pimm’s and Bar San Callisto for knowing how to welcome customers and treat customers respectfully. Oh, I forgot to mentionto the short female waitress with glasses that tripped over the potted plant by where we were sitting and almost fell on her facedont’t think I did not notice your passive aggressive attitude when you literally push me to the side with your hands as I was paying the bill as you went pass me to go behind the bar. You ARE rude! Learn some manners and learn to say excuse me! Samovar your lost! You guys and the service SUCKS!!! Those reading this review go somewhere else where the service, atmosphere, and staff are much better! Service: 1
