Ordered 2 steaks along with mash and fries from Sam’s Steak on Deliveroo. When I first opened the bag, I realised they forgot my drink, annoying but okay I opened the containers with the food inside and all looked good, it actually looked much better than you’d expect home delivered steak to look like. Then I plated it all up, started eating and I was left so disappointed. The sides were great but the main “meat” of the meal (no pun) was shocking. For a place that only does steak, it seems odd that everything but the steak was good. One steak was completely over cooked and one steak was under cooked so both were really disappointing. There is no option to select how you’d like your meat to be cooked so it is a bit strange that they didn’t arrive in the same way. Also, I don’t think either steak tasted like steak, both cuts tasted so cheap and stringy. I am currently sat here questioning what I just ate. Could have been so good but no, it wasn’t.
