Southgate Sam's Club #6412 Sam’s Club must have the worst managers on earth. Every time I visit, there’s a long checkout line with just one or two cashiers and no one to help pack. Meanwhile, the managers are hanging out, chatting, and walking around, completely ignoring the chaos. When you ask them about the situation, the usual response is, 'We don’t have enough staff' or, like Victor said today, 'Corporate wants everyone to use the automated lines.' Never mind that some of us are elderly and can’t scan large packages ourselves. Never mind that we’re paying for premium service, yet they can’t even spare a bagger. Never mind that the scan lines are long too. It’s no surprise they never have enough cashiers—they could not care less about them. What they’re really implying is that customers will be punished with long lines while the poor cashier is left to work nonstop while we’re forced to do it all ourselves. Isn't anyone in the higher up watching this?

If you would prefer to scan items as you shop, we would encourage you to use the Scan & Go feature within the Sam's Club app. You pay directly on your phone and head straight to the exit without having to wait in the checkout line.
