Mouthwatering fried chicken, bacon and sausages will impress you at the first bite. To order perfectly cooked crepes, waffles and biscuits is a really good idea. You will enjoy good beer at this restaurant. Degust delicious coffee.

Sam's Kitchen is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. A number of people suppose that prices are attractive for what you receive. The fancy decor and cool atmosphere let visitors feel relaxed here. But this place isn't granted a high rating on Trip.

Went to IHOP and there were over 30 people waiting for tables and more than half the tables in dining area were empty so went to Google and saw Sams Kitchen across the street. Walked in, were seated immediately with classic southern hospitality. Their pancakes were great. The sausages very tasty and the bisquits and grits were good too. We would definitely return. PS For the picky eaters out there, my fiancé *hates* going to unknown local mom and pops cause so many times (for him) the food is not good but he gave this place a 2 thumbs up!
Great grilled chicken sandwich. Love the sweet potato fries. The unsweet tea is perfect.
We heard about Sam's kitchen while waiting in line at IHOP. We stood in a line of about 10 people, who were waiting to be seated. There was one cashier taking payments and no one to seat the incoming guests. As we waited approximately 15 minutes, a couple said that they were going across the street to Sam's kitchen! Thankfully I heard this, because as soon as I did, I knew I was going to wait in line any longer! I looked it up on my GPS, and sure enough it was about a block down across the street. Once we got there, we were immediately greeted and seated. My husband and I bother ordered omelettes. His was egg, cheese, sausage and mushrooms, and mine was egg, cheese, sausage, green peppers and onion. It was delicious! I'm not a huge fan of ordering omelettes, but this is worth ordering. If you're in the Charlottesville area, I would definitely give this place a try!
