I stayed here with my fiancée in April and we both really loved the hotel. We were greeted on arrival with a glass of champagne and a hot towel and then taken to our room, which had a beautiful view over the ocean from our balcony which was a sun trap. The rooms open plan with bathtub and separate shower room was very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable. We were highly impressed with the cleanliness throughout the hotel, bar areas, pool areas and room in general. The adults only bar/pool is superb with constant service from the staff for drinks, water etc, it was very tranquil here and the staff were very welcoming. With two separate Michelin star restaurants at the hotel, we sampled both to our delight on both occasions, which would warrant a separate review. Regarding the food this is of course notwithstanding the lovely breakfast buffet and cooked to order service which we sampled new things from on a daily basis, and the chefs on a morning were excellent if you just wandered up and asked them for something to be cooked to order, nothing was too much trouble. We were always greeted with a welcome smile and asked if we wished to order from the menu, coffee, etc, every morning. If it's not obvious from the review thus far, the staff were all exceptional with their service - and this extends throughout the hotel at large. We were very pleasantly treated by all staff throughout our stay. We found the walk into La Caleta and the availability of restaurants, bars and supermarkets an added bonus there as the hotel itself should have everything you need. This review doesn't cover the facilities outside of the hotel but it is noted there are options a short walk away if required. Hopefully, I will stay here again in the near future. Walkability: There are two supermarkets and a number of restaurants in La Caleta, all walkable in 5 minutes. A nice downhill stroll into town.
