Exceptional!!! If you are in this area, I would highly recommend booking this unique experience. Staying in a cave that is very comfortable, and well equipped. It is in the heart of the old town and in the heart of earth. You will feel the Mother Earth surround you with grounding energy and love. The family business is personal and attentive to taking good care of you. Also it is also very quiet and peaceful. Service: 5

I booked it online and my best suggestion would be to always book with the possibility of a refund. I did not expect to get sick but did, I did not expect to be contagious but were, yet when I contacted the property to explain why I couldn’t make the reservation -even though they had the option to wave the fee- they did not. I lost the money, as it would have been risky for me and others to travel in this state. The world has forgotten COVID happened. Highly disappointed in this place. Next time in Matera, safe to say I will no pick this place. Take care. Service: 1

Very nice and characteristic room created in the stones, nice experience. Sleeping among the rocks. Studio apartment also equipped with all kitchen accessories, fridge, oven, etc. Very kind and welcoming owner and staff. Good breakfast with different types of homemade desserts and many other sweet and savory options. Thank you. I would only remove the hydromassage tub very slippery, I would just use a nice shower. x . the rest is fine. thanks again. Rooms: Cozy room built into the rock, very pretty. clean. I would only remove the carpet on the floor because it is useless and only covers the beauty of the floor. Rooms: 2 Service: 3 Location: 2 Hotel highlights: Quiet
