Simply a nice local restaurant to enjoy with friends, really enjoy the nice salad and soup bar... Never had a bad experience, also enjoy their hosting of large parties!! I recently visited Sand Trap at 12 Stones for brunch and had a mixed experience. While there were high points, there were also areas that could use some improvement. The eggs, bacon, salad, and dessert were enjoyable and stood out as the highlights of the meal. These dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, contributing positively to our dining experience. However, there were certain food items that did not meet expectations. The filet, gravy, and breakfast potatoes were a bit disappointing, as they were overly greasy and overcooked. These elements detracted from the overall meal quality and are items I would avoid in future visits. Additionally, the service was somewhat lacking, which affected the overall experience. Prompt and attentive service can significantly enhance a meal, and I hope to see improvements in this area on my next visit. Overall, Sand Trap at 12 Stones has its strengths, and I would be open to giving it another try, focusing on the dishes I enjoyed previously. With some adjustments in service and preparation, it has the potential to provide a more consistent dining experience.
