We first came across Sandra Restaurant back in 2021 when we ordered lunch packs for a trip, and ever since then we’ve been hooked. Every single visit after that has been consistently good, with simple but top quality food that always hits the spot. Our go-to order is their egg fried rice — fluffy, not too oily, packed with just the right amount of vegetables, perfectly cooked samba rice and that slight smoky flavour from the pan that makes it so good. Their kottu roti is also really tasty. Honestly, both dishes are good enough to enjoy on their own without any extra sides or condiments. The owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating and the prices are very reasonable too. They have a small dine-in area with a buffet table and a fridge stocked with water, soft drinks and yoghurt. One small improvement I’d suggest is installing a doorbell because when you walk in, no one is usually at the front since they’re busy in the kitchen. We usually call ahead if we’re dining in, but a new customer might think the place is closed and leave. It’s always great to see a small restaurant like this doing so well while maintaining such consistent quality and warm service. Definitely a place we always look forward to visiting. Keep it up!
