Delicious and delightful Indian Food. It looks like they have made quite a positive name for themselves and have a sister restaurant in Livermore. My best friends keep raving about Sansar Indian Cuisine in Livermore. Being a foodie, but one that doesn't usually travel 40 minutes out of his way, I asked what made this place stand out compared to other restaurants. They just said that it's very good, creamy, and that they do it right. Mentally, I thought of this place as having a good vegetarian option (which most places also do), using a good amount of butter and cream in their curries, and being generous with the amount and variety of the spices. We ended up going here for a friends birthday. They looked on the Notes app to search for the grand list of items that they must order. Between the four of us, we ordered a good amount of various Pakora (Panner, Aloo, and Fish). The Panner Pakora was tasty, but cheese on top of fried is pretty rich. The Aloo Pakora was probably my favorite of the three, with the potato being nicely done. The Fish would have been my favorite, but it was very bland. I had let the others do the ordering for the entree dishes. We split 2 orders of basmati rice and 2 orders of garlic naan to enjoy with the entrees. I would say that the entree items were all nicely done. My favorite was the Palak Paneer and it was delightful having it with the garlic naan. They also delivered on the spice with that - the other 3 were a bit more mild, even though we had asked for medium for all of them, expect for the chicken tikka masala, and it had me sweating. All-in-all, it was a great experience and I can absolutely see why they have high regards for this restaurant. I would like to have it again, although I wouldn't necessary drive out of my way to come here. One thing I would note is that they didn't check temperature or vaccination cards, although I am not sure whether it is Sansar specifically or the overall attitude of Livermore.
