"Scorpacciata Romana" is a restaurant that celebrates the tradition and innovation of Roman cuisine. Among the specialties not to be missed, the fried foods are extraordinary, especially the carbonara supplì, chicken supplì with peppers and the supplì with 'nduja, which offer a unique explosion of flavours. The first courses are a true hymn to Roman cuisine: from the mezzeniche all'gricia and their variant with truffles, to the mezzeniche all'amatriciana and carbonara, up to the gnocchi with tail sauce, each dish is prepared with skill and passion . Among the second courses, the fried meatballs with tail meat on pecorino cream, the rolls, the coratella, the tripe and the beans with pork rinds are simply delicious, reflecting the true essence of Roman home cooking. The desserts are the perfect grand finale, with the tiramisu and the chocolate soufflé standing out for their goodness. The selection of grappas and bitters, as well as that of wines, is excellent, with particular attention to the products of small local companies. The price is transparent: €27.99 for the full menu, with extras added. The service is impeccable and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I can't wait to return and discover more delights of this wonderful restaurant!
