recently visited Sapporo Japanese Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The service was fantastic, and the hibachi chef was entertaining, making the dining experience enjoyable. However, the food quality left much to be desired for the price. My friend ordered chicken and beef, and while the hibachi cooking was fun, they mentioned the flavor was just okay—nothing special. The sushi, unfortunately, didn’t live up to the expectations given the restaurant’s location and pricing. It was mid-tier at best. As for my order, I had the salmon and seabass hibachi. The salmon was just okay, but for the price point, I expected a much higher quality. The seabass, on the other hand, was inedible. I couldn’t even swallow one bite—it was that bad. On a brighter note, the draft Heineken was perfect and refreshing. One major concern I had was the chef using the same tools for raw chicken and other foods without wiping or switching utensils. This raised some hygiene concerns for me, and I believe it would improve the overall dining experience if they addressed this. In summary, while the service and atmosphere were good, the food quality and hygiene practices need improvement, especially for the price point.
