I was wavering if I wanted to post this - it's been bothering me, so I will. Let me start off by saying I've visited Saskatoon Berry Farm (SBF) SEVERAL times and recommended it to family and friends in and out of town. I really enjoy SBF, I love the view, the arch, the shops, experience, and the food there. With that being said, my fiancé and I have been planning our quiet ceremony and thought of SBF because that is where one of our first dates took place - we actually have a lovely photo under the arch hung up at home. I used the form online to submit an inquiry but I didn't hear back so I decided to give them a call on a Sunday (04/21). A lady answered and I told her what we were looking for, quiet ceremony under the arch and pictures and that it would only be my fiancé, my parents, his mother and I for 5 total as we have lovely fond memories at the arch. I was quickly dismissed, the lady had mentioned its $1400 but depended on the size of the group which I said 5 and she said that "we do a lot of these so its $1400 min, and I believe she mentioned using a photographer they have but it was so quick and short I cannot recall exactly. There was no question on WHEN we were thinking, WHAT DATE or ANYTHING, it was a quick, unpleasant conversation. She didn't care to learn about the details as if they don't care to have my business. She was on speaker and my fiancé was surprised given how much we enjoyed SBF and admired the owner who always walked around the farm greeting people etc. I was so upset and couldn't believe that had happened. I took some time to think and it is still bothering me so I am sharing my experience. They have left a bad taste in my mouth and I will surely be hesitate to visit given my experience on the phone.

We love visiting the farm, especially in the summer as there is fruit and vegetable picking. The kids love to feed the bunnies, but they weren't around this past weekend, but hopefully they will be out soon. Food is good. Fun to look around.

I had the chance to visit The Saskatoon Farm recently and I have to say it is an absolutely charming place. It’s like a picturesque little village, with its green gardens, rustic buildings and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance!
