I regularly meet my friend for lunch at Sassool. It’s always great service and the staff are friendly. I recently catered a party, it far exceeded my expectations. The dishes were all delicious, it was ready on time and it’s so fairly priced. I will not think twice for my next gathering. Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered online and honestly not sure what the hype is about. I got the lamb and beef shawarma and some kabobs and the food is pretty low quality, mid quantity, and low seasoning at premium prices. The meat was rubbery, chewy, and unseasoned. I’m pretty confident the beef was cheap cuts of bottom round and the chicken was frozen low grade chicken breast. There’s not much you can do to hide the quality of cuts like that especially when doing a kabob. The baba and hummus both had very thin textures like they watered it down. I checked the box for extra olive oil and there was maybe 1-2 drops of olive oil. Both my significant other and I had stomach aches after eating it for lunch and had to skip dinner because the food sat like a rock. The rice in the grape leaves were still hard. The seasoning in the grape leaves was not mixed well and one of them was a massive salt bomb. The only thing that was redeeming was the whole wheat pita and the Lebanese rice but the rice serving amount was disappointingly small. I’ve eaten a lot of Mediterranean food in the Middle East and in the US and this is in the bottom 25% based on this one experience. Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 5

Suddenly they have become very stingy with portions and with pita bread. Maybe they are trying to make up for loss due to Covid?
