You can come to this bar after seeing Clitheroe Castle. Good beer is what can make you come back to Sauce Box. The professional staff welcomes visitors all year round. We went on a Saturday evening and the two guys working there couldn't have been more helpful. They did have a cocktail list but told me they would create one especially for me if I had a preference. I thought this was fantastic service. We also got a free shot which is always greatly appreciated . Only small but was busy and seemed very popular. We would definitely return here if in the area again. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Id actually give it a minus. Was really nice when we came 2yrs ago. No idea who's moved in. They tried cocktail nice enough, atmosphere abysmal, drab, then the most hilarious bit. 22quid for two cocktails that were ok. Madness don't go. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Yesterday was our first experience at the sauce box we have walked past many a time and always said " we should try in there" and yesterday we did and it did not disappoint at all!!!! The owner is one of the most genuine, welcoming clearly hard working people I have ever come across. We went for a drink with our 1 Year old daughter and we were instantly made to feel welcome and the fact that we had our daughter with us was absolutely not an issue. The cocktails where some of the best I have ever tasted and the atmosphere was outstanding. As for the previous post stating the "manager / waiter" was rude I 100% disagree. Yes you where told to be quiet as you where talking excessively loud for such a small venue, this had nothing at all to do with there being children present. It did however have everything to do with the fact that no one could hear themselves think and that everyone else was trying to hold a conversation at a normal level below your group's bellowing!! Will 110% be returning. What a place!!! :)
