Ignore other places, discover the Mediterranean menu at this restaurant. The staff is friendly that's what makes Saxo Jazz Bar so good. Good service is something that visitors highlight in their comments. The atmosphere of this place is lovely. The overall rating of this place on Google is 4.2.

After ordering a drink, I went outside to check if someone was ok as he didn't seem to be. It turns out the owner didn't want him to come back in. He closed and locked the doors..keeping in mind I didn't know this guy he assumed I was with. He wouldn't let me back in with my purse, bag, and phone all in the place. Nor would he let me even speak to him to explain. The guy was beginning a fight with a stranger on the street and the owner would still not let me in. So after 20 minutes of knocking on the window.. The barmaid opened the door, said I was a nutter and then closed the door. For no reason. I was very polite whilst I was in there. I'm a 23 year old girl and it was late and potentially dangerous to be there. Finally he let me in to get my belongings..
Hopefully you choose not to go here as the owner made me very distressed and like I say, I have never and hope that noone is ever treated like this.
Because I have to give one star, this is for the music and the potential the place has if it was run by anyone with a good heart.
