Overall, every date with my wife at Saje Kitchen is a great night for us. The vibe and food is our vibe when we are trying to get away from our day to day chaos. Immediately as we walked in we were greeted with hospitality. We were given an option of where we wanted to sit for added comfort which is a big thing for the misses. Once seated, the server provided us some complementary appetizers bites which was a great gesture as we waited for our drinks to be served. Once we were served our drinks the server was very attentive on ensuring we didn’t have to ask for another. We both had tequila/soda/lemon&lime and drinks were solid so hats off to the Bartenders! My wife had the Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta and I had the 8 oz Filet (med. rare) with a side of loaded grits. We also each had 2 drinks each. Total tab was $135 which isn’t bad for the quality of food and vibe we experienced. Portions for the pasta dish could honestly be shared with 2 people as it’s a healthy size. My wife loved the kick of Cajun with each bite and took home a good portion for leftovers. Cutting through my 8oz filet was like butter! Cooked perfectly and pairing with the loaded grits was a clutch move for sure. The dish did come with Yukon mash but the grits hit differently for me so I tried the mash which were good but stuck with the grits.
