We had an absolutely brilliant experience at Scarpetta! The service was fantastic - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every dish we tried was delicious, with fresh and vibrant flavours. The tuna tartare was balanced with a smooth avocado. The vitello tomato was like something I’ve never tasted - deliciously salty thin veal balanced with tomato sauce and capers. The linguine vongole was fresh and nicely balanced. We finished with a porchetta tartufata pizza is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Without a doubt, this was the best meal we’ve had in Malta. We’ll absolutely be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €40–45 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visited Scarpetta during a day trip to Valletta and really enjoyed the experience. It’s a lovely little restaurant by the harbour, offering authentic Italian food with both indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff were super kind and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. The outdoor seating area was also decorated nicely, with green gingham tablecloths and nice cutlery that gave it a classic Italian feel. The food was definitely the highlight and ended up being one of the best parts of our day in Valletta. Everything we ordered was really good, and I would particularly recommend the fried pizzas, which were excellent. I would say it’s slightly expensive, but in my opinion it’s worth the money for the quality of the food and the location alone. Overall, a great spot for authentic Italian food in Valletta and somewhere I would happily visit again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Everything was perfect. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is idyllic along the waterfront and the food was amazing. The fried pizza dough is unique and so light and airy with loads of delicious fillings (we loved the Nduja telagio mix), and the truffle risotto just like in Italy. I would definitely recommend eating here. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
