We are actually really big fans of the castle - but we had a stupid experience yesterday. Shortly before closing time (20/25 minutes), my companion and I thought that we would visit the castle again for a “very, very short coffee” - but this was quickly turned down. When we got to the door, the employee immediately said that the café would close in 20 minutes. When we said we just wanted to make a quick stop and have a quick coffee, he said he was out of coffee??? Have you run out of coffee? In a cafe? After we left the terrace, we observed that the employee sat down with other guests (apparently his friends). And it's clear that they just didn't feel like using it.
