I was in Tokyo for some weeks, and like a good little German I started to miss proper bread after a couple of weeks. It is actually quite surreal, after weeks of just seeing Japanese or English writings you walk through a little quiet neighbourhood street and suddenly there is a full on German store. Like the writings are in German, everything is, even down to proper paper bags (not plastic). To be real, it is such a stupid tourist thing to visit a foreign country and then expect to have the same food you have at home, but I guess that is how we are. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and the bread is exactly like in Germany. Vollkorn, Bio etc. Everything is there and it tasted really good, like at home. So yeah, I’m am a stupid tourist I guess, but if you are as well and crave some proper bread, this is the place to be Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
