We heard this place was great and it held up to the reputation in the other reviews. My wife got the fried chicken that people said was great and she agreed. I got fried catfish and it was moist, light and flaky like it should be. The coating was crispy and cooked just right. It is in my top 5 of catfish dishes I have had. We also found lots item in the market they have in the same area. They have lots of pickled items, and mixes of baking items cookies cakes and biscuits. Lots gifts jams and jellies as well. They also had Pizza and dessert ice cream or snowballs. This is great find and worth stopping in if your in town or passing through they have lunch and dinner specials so the menu will have a great variety. If you order be patient it is worth the wait. The staff is super nice and friendly. Thanks for great experience Scoops!

Very disappointed, what once was a gem in Folsom is now just a shell of what it used to be. Service was horrible, food was below average which makes it over priced for what it was. We will not be back !
