Three words - “Call John Taffer”. This place needs leadership. Six of us came in on August 1st. We order 2 longnecks, one wine, one mocktail and three waters. 10 mins later the drinks arrive minus the waters. Zero management presence! One couple ordered entrees while my wife and I ordered queso & fried pickles. The first appetizer came out with the other entrées. It took at least half an hour for the fried pickles to come out at which point they doubled the order. Other than the bartender, the other 3 employees are untrained. It took us half an hour to get our bill and get it processed correctly. Unless the owner gets processes in place and Proper training for the staff, I see this place being closed in six months. I love the music, some DJ's will play your request. Drinks are always cold and reasonable price. The atmosphere is very casual and friendly for the most part. You can also score a bite to eat, mostly everything is tasty.I don't know when they started doing this but now they have a creepy old guy checking IDs at the door. Not only that another thing that turns us off is that he goes around checking, lifting up your drinks to see if they are empty or not so he can take them. He does this without asking. This is simply unacceptable. Fix this so the patrons of Scotty's Pub can enjoy themselves without wrinkled fingers on their beverages!
