We went here for breakfast while staying in Springfield for my husband's surgical consultation. The food was delicious and our server Joey is a great guy. Everyone here is very nice and the place is clean and welcoming. We hope to go back at least one more time while we're here. Price per person: $10–20

Food was decent and server was super sweet, but the male owner made us extremely uncomfortable. Immediately after we sat down, he began asking my 11 and 14 year old daughters if they had boyfriends and if they’ve kissed boys. When their answers were no, he acted shocked and mortified, tried to make them feel as though they’re not normal if they’ve not kissed boys by the age of 11 and 14. This is grooming behavior. Despite our obvious discomfort in his presence, he lingered at our table the ENTIRE time we were there. We were the only customers as they were due to close soon. He didn’t even leave after our food came. It was awkward and we felt violated as he persisted to invade our space and privacy. My daughters were extremely uncomfortable in his presence. I regret feeling the need to be polite and responding to him after he crossed this line. I should have put him in his place immediately, but I don’t do well in these situations and unfortunately tolerated his hovering. We will never return to this restaurant. First time to Scramblers and we will be back. The servers are experienced and there for very efficient and also they were very nice. It is a privately owned business not a chain. I like to support the little guy. Food was good as well as the portions.
