After visiting the Kinkakuji Temple, three of us stopped here for lunch. This restaurant is very clean, traditional in appearance and has 7 tables. However, it is well worth the wait! Service was excellent. We each ordered the Single Eel Bowl with Ochazuke Tea, Pickle, Miso Soup and (of course) Rice. I've eaten eel plenty of times before, so I know of what I speak when I say that this eel was beautifully grilled, full of flavor and tender without falling apart. The Tea, Miso Soup - everything went so well together. I recommend this restaurant without reservation. You won't regret it. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm really glad I stopped here. The food was delicious and I received a very warm welcome. I had a beef bowl, which was really tasty. I highly recommend it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
