Food was good but didn't represent value for money as a way of eating. Tapas as a concept just doesn't work in Australia due to running and produce costs. This one survived being in a regional town. $20 for potatoes (crazy!) $7 for a scallop, $51 for paella add $20 for 4 more prawns, $21 for a handful of squid etc. It goes on. Great service though which is hard to find!

If you want a taste of Spain come to Seabean Tapas Bar Restaurant and be invited in by the warm and friendly staff. The food, service and atmosphere were great. My wife and l came on a Sunday evening and sampled a selection of dishes which were amazingly delicious, from the Grilled pan de casa, Boquerones - Marinated White Anchovy fillets, Lamb Albondigas - Spanish meatballs with a garlic mint sauce, Mariscos - Seafood Paella and to finish Churros with chocolate all balanced with a carafe of Sangria(red wine). By the end of our meals we were absolutely full and quite content. Thank you to Matt, Sam and staff for making our last night in Port Douglas a very enjoyable one. The trip from Melbourne was worth it! I can understand why they have such a high Google Review Rating. "Saludos y Buena salud" Cheers and good health. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Rude staff. Menu items website not explained and substitutes on menu.
My wife's seafood paleo was dry like Sells Spack filler.
Food may look good but lacks flavours.
