I absolutely love Village Coffeehouse in Raleigh! The Golden Date Latte is one of my favorites — it is unique, delicious, and such a treat. As a business owner, I also highly recommend it for networking meetings. There is an amazing amount of seating, making it easy to meet with someone comfortably, and the outdoor porch is a wonderful bonus when the weather is nice. It’s a warm, welcoming local spot with great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful (and new to me) coffee shop! I don’t drink coffee but the ceremonial matcha was amazing and good quality (Naoki brand), and there were several non-dairy options. Great place to work with good wifi and seating. Most coffee shops blast music and it’s hard to focus, even with noise cancelling headphones, so I loved that this one was playing classical music at a reasonable volume. I’ll be back! Plenty of seating inside and outside. The cashier/barista was knowledgeable and welcoming. He took the time to show us the picture of the original building and explain the area. Everyone at the cafe was nice. Espresso drinks and the Americano were good. We got some of the bars/cookies to try but my family ate them before I could try anything. We stopped while passing thru town, sad we won't be back anytime soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Take out Price per person: $1–10 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot Kid-friendliness: The kids had the best time trying the treats and talking with the barista about the area.
