Fish and chips doesn't get much better than this. Crisp batter, chips squidgy hot and crisp. Last night's cod was huge. With the chips and a tub of mushy peas it was fantastic. The only downside? It left me so full I could only manage 2 pints in the pub. I used to rate the one in Seaton sluice higher - think seashells is now better. I bought cod and chips at 12.30 today . Don’t know how long the fish had been standing but it was dried out and not worth a fraction of the £9.50 that it cost me. Will not be rushing back.
