See Seattle First Covenant Church and come to this bar. Delicious beer is worth a try here. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. Most guests have noticed that the staff is cute at Seattle Eagle. Disappointing service is something that visitors would like to improve here. You may be surprised by attractive prices at this place. It's usually good to try something new, enjoying the charming atmosphere. On Facebook, this spot has a lot of user reviews and a 4.6 star rating, which means the place is highly popular and worth visiting.

A classic leather bar. I had lots of fun. Slow Sunday night. Good people. Some drama in background, the kind you listen to from a distance and think, "thank God that's not me.". Friendly sexy bartender that's knows his job and people well enough to suggest new drinks. Moscow Mule my new favorite, thanks for that. I would have been back a couple times already but broke my hip in an accident the next morning. Definitely going back to The Eagle when I make it back to Seattle.

It has gotten worse over the years. The drinks are more expensive than anywhere on the hill. No dancers. No adult stuff. And of course fewer and fewer patrons. Save your money.

First, I will review the bar itself, and then I will talk about a serious incident we had with the bar clientele. Three of us (two of us from out of town and our friend who now lives in Seattle) Friday night at about 10pm. The bar itself was clean (including the bathroom, which is a plus), the staff were pleasant, and the music was good. However, $6 cover for a nearly empty bar was a bit pricey.
However, what happened after was completely unacceptable. The three of us were in full leather: motorcycle jackets, leather pants, and boots (Wesco, Chippewa, and Corcoran). This rather drunk gay man was entering the Eagle when we left, saw us, and gave us the “Heil Hitler” salute and sort of laughing about it.
In all of my years as an openly gay man (including 8.5 years in the Army in silence under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”), I have never been so insulted in my life. Drunk or not, Neo Nazism is not something anyone should joke about. This is especially true considering this gay man should expect to see men in leather in a gay leather bar. Treating fellow gay men with a “Heil Hitler” salute damages the sense of community we LGBTQ should have, and a lack of an apology from the people with this drunk guy just shows how little faith I have in our “community” (or lack thereof).
I hope that this insult has never happened before or ever will happen again at or in front of the Seattle Eagle, but I will never go back again to be proven wrong.
Leathermen, please be aware that you may be treated like this as well. I really hope not, but I would not be surprised if other leathermen have also been disrespected at the Seattle Eagle.
