Exceptional fine dining at Second Empire Restaurant and Tavern! Set in the historic Dodd-Hinsdale House, the atmosphere is elegant and memorable. The cuisine was outstanding—beautifully prepared dishes with refined flavors and excellent presentation. Service was polished, attentive, and made the evening feel special. Outstanding wine selection and a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. A true standout for special occasions in Raleigh. The soup de jour was my favorite, I believe today was cauliflower and leeks, it was spectacular. I got the sirloin for my entree and it was honestly the best steak I have ever had. I had a chocolate soufflé for dessert which was delicious. They also had a really good variety of Non-Alcoholic beverages.
