Second Home is a staple in the international community and has become such an important third space. I have been coming here since it was a tiny place in the old location, when it was still quite new. It’s amazing how far it has come! Truthfully, I am not the most outgoing person, but I have managed to make friends through their events. If there’s a night where you don’t gel well with people, come another night or try a different kind of event they hold. I don’t drink so I appreciate the 1,500 yen, 3 hour soft drink nomihodai. Very thankful for all their dedication to our community thus far! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

People would say I’m definitely biased for writing a review about Second Home, which is true (for obvious reasons) and I don’t care Today I experienced Second Home during their cafe time. It was a totally different experience from the usual Wednesday evening meetings or Saturday evening events. The atmosphere was quiet, like any other regular cafe around. I had Salmon & Avocado waffle It was really delicious I highly recommend this multi purpose, multi cultural meeting space for both expats as well as newcomers to Nagoya Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
