On my last night in Hasselt, we were looking for an early dinner. We’d seen this place pop up earlier in the trip and weren’t sure we’d make it there, but I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere is amazingsmall, warm and cozy. The staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful with all our questions. I started with the Thai curry soup, which happened to be the soup of the day. It was absolutely delicious: perfectly hot and served with Turkish bread (I believe it was called ekmek) that was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. For the main dish, I had the chicken filet in yellow curry with a mouthwatering pasta. I was honestly taken aback by how crazy good everything was. I’m not sure if I’ll ever find myself in Hasselt again, but if I do, Sedr Chef will be an absolute must-visit. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
