We were there for lunch. Good cuisine, relatively expensive. Great ambience with a view of the lake. It was a bit difficult to find the entrance. Very nice service. Service: 5 Location: 5

First of all: 5 stars are not enough; We have a sky full of stars for this hotel and the staff!!!!! My wife and I have spent numerous holidays in 4 and 5 star hotels in Austria, Germany, Slovenia and Italy. This is our first review because this hotel stands out from other (very) good hotels by several notches. In detail: The location: beautifully embedded in the lake and mountain landscape; Exterior view of the hotel: the slightly different architecture awakens interest and curiosity for “more” upon arrival; Hotel inside: in the style of the 70s, wonderful - nostalgic - harmonious - casual on all levels, corners, edges, curves; The rooms: everything available for this hotel category; super clean with a wonderful view of Lake Kaltern; The welcome: the warm and competent South Tyrolean hospitality is immediately noticeable; The service staff: The joy in the job is visible and, more importantly, noticeable at all times; The cuisine: the culinary delights were (and still are) indescribable; highest feelings of happiness when enjoying the food, sorry - it should probably be called works of art; Head chef/gourmet chef Mr. Albin and his team provided us with culinary care in a way we had never experienced before. It was just a dream come true. Special thanks: to the junior boss: for the great conversation about God and the world; Chef/gourmet chef Mr. Albin (and team): Thank you for the personal encounters, the conversations and the culinary flights of fancy; to the service staff: thanks for the wonderful time with you (especially to the bartender from the Alta Badia area); We felt the joy of your DOING every moment; CONCLUSION: absolute and clear recommendation; Thank you to everyone who contributed to these truly unforgettable holidays - WE WILL BE BACK! A very special place in an excellent location directly on Lake Kaltern. Unique atmosphere and special design. Great location for a break with a beautiful view. Location: 5
