Come here for a drink after a long walk around Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion. Malaysian cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is wonderful here. Prices here are reported to be attractive. But many guests who use Google didn't give this cafe a high rating.

Opposite Hotel Malaysia on Penang Road. A short walk from Love Lane, Muntri Road and Chulia Street. I enoy this place because it's on main street, ideal for people watching, but exudes a quiet calm amongst the hustle and bustle. Food is standard fare at reasonable prices. Wooden tables and chairs. No WI-FI. Menu with prices are clearly displayed on the wall. The staff give you your own space. A very cool place to chill out and relax. Cooled by fans, so you can still enjoy the tropical heat.
