It's been a great place, very cosy and perfect service, very fast. We had mainly pasta and some starters. Squid and sea food are very fresh and nicely done. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Horrendous experience. A friend and I went to Segreto whilst on a walking holiday in the Peak District. We were the first customers, 6.00 pm on Wednesday 18 August. I had sea food risotto. I’m not allergic to sea food and have eaten it on many occasions. On Thursday afternoon I started experiencing stomach cramps and feeling very unwell. By Thursday evening I was vomiting uncontrollably with both sickness and diarrhoea. Friday I could not even keep a glass of water down. Today is Saturday 21August and I’m still in bed trying to keep dioralyte down. My friend who accompanied me is a medical doctor and said it was a clear case of food poisoning. I presume the sea food was off or contaminated. I would not wish anyone to go through what I’m experiencing now so please beware of this place.
