Come here for some rest after a long walk around Chubu Electric Power Science Museum. Come to this restaurant for a break and try nicely cooked curried udon, tempura chicken and shrimp tempura. The gracious staff welcomes people all year round. If you want to enjoy terrific service, you should visit Sen. The lovely atmosphere has been highlighed by the visitors. Walked in by chance during lunch service, was given a seat at the counter. Ordered the udon tempura set. Very fast to arrive as tempura had just come off the stove. Udon was fat and chewy, just the way I liked it. Tempura items were very crisp and not greasy or oily. Very enjoyable and delicious meal. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Menu also avail in English for non Japanese speakers. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

"Sen", Naka-ku, Nagoya City My son and I visited for lunch on our way to the Nagoya City Science Museum. This is my first visit. It seems to be famous for its curry udon. Eat cheese curry udon. A slightly yellowish curry soup. Not the potato starch type, but the roux type. The ingredients are pork and fried tofu. It's just delicious. No spiciness. The noodles are neither thin nor thick. I also ordered vegetable tempura. Sweet potato, onion, lotus root. Small tempura. My son had kake udon, meat tempura and chikuwa tempura. Chikuwaten is also small. Nikuten is a bite-sized, or two-bite sized piece of chicken tempura. Overall it was pretty tasty.
