It is the best place near Mokubo-ji Temple. You can order tasty sushi. The high ratings of this restaurant wouldn't be possible without the creative staff. Fast service is something that guests highlight in their reviews. There is pretty atmosphere at Sen Sushi. Google gives it 4.2 so you can choose this place to spend a good time here.

This place was recommended by our hotel and we decided to try it out. It felt very good when we were let in a few minutes before the official opening time, since it was quite cold outside. The chef was warm and welcoming; he spoke good English. The menu is multingual, although the ordering form is in Japanese. The sushi masters at the counter prefer orders in Japanese, but they were very understanding and courteous. The sushi and sashimi are not cheap, but they were really good. くじらsushi or sashimi is highly recommended (better than the ステ一キversion), although everything was really good. Great sake, too. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Sumo fighters have visited this place, too, by the way. Price per person: ¥7,000–8,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Walked in and was able to get a table without reservation, local people were sat in and making to-go orders, so it seemed a safe bet. Staff were very friendly and provided us with an English menu, and took our order personally (without us using the table order form). This is possibly coming from a limited Western pallet, but I found the sushi to be delicious. It tasted fresh and the selection was varied. We also enjoyed a draft beer and shoju sour cocktail, both very refreshing. No issue paying with foreign credit card/visa. I would recommend this to anyone!
