I’ve tried a lot of mochi in Japan, but nothing compares to the strawberry daifuku at this shop. Every bite is pure poetry — soft, pillowy mochi on the outside, and a perfectly balanced, gently sweet filling inside. You can taste the care and craftsmanship in every bite of this family run business. This place made me fall in love with daifuku mochi. No matter how often I had them the quality is outstanding. I’m already dreaming of my next visit. Highly, highly recommended. This is not just a snack — it’s a moment of Kyoto magic.
