Senkura yakiniku is the best place my girlfriend and I ate at during our recent trip to Japan.we found Senkura after wandering Kokubun-cho after trying to get into Gyu-kaku, which as usual had a wait time. we thought we'd give it a go as we wanted yakiniku and we can speak passable Japanese if needed.we were extremely pleasantly surprised to find that not only did the owner Tsunehiko-san spoke good english, the food was INCREDIBLE. we'd been to other yakiniku, but didnt even compare to Tsunehiko-sans restaurant Senkura. it was very welcoming, a cosy place, friendly staff great atmosphere.please please please visit this restaurant if you are in Sendai, i cannot recommend Senkura highly enough. our next trip back to Japan will certainly include a Visit to Senkura and to see Tsunehiko-san again.
