We picked this spot for dinner, hoping for some Spanish magic, but it was a bit of a letdown. The decor was lovely think wooden tables and a cozy, tiled interior. The staff was nice but disorganized, and we waited ages for our drinks. The menu had a lot of variety, but my tapas were uneven: the croquetas were creamy, but the calamari was rubbery. My friend’s steak was overcooked and chewy, which was disappointing. The sangria was refreshing, and the tarta de Santiago was a nice treat. The bill wasn’t too steep, but I expected more for the price. If you’re in the area, it’s a decent choice, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. Just didn’t hit the mark.
