I visited this restaurant two weeks in a row, ordering the same restaurant week menu, but had vastly different experiences. First Visit (5/5): I came with friends and everything was flawless. The food was perfectly executed and seasoned. Our waitress was incredibly passionate, even sharing lovely details like how the chef hand-painted the menus. The highlights were the Carabinero, the Yellow Chicken (perfectly crisp skin, juicy meat, and spot-on seasoning), and the marshmallow with pandan ice cream. It was so wonderful that I booked again for my anniversary the following week. Second Visit (3/5): Unfortunately, our anniversary dinner didn't live up to the first. To be fair, my husband was late, which may have disrupted the kitchen's timing, but the execution was noticeably off. The Carabinero lacked its original flavor balance. The Yellow Chicken was a letdown - the skin was oily rather than crispy, and half the dish was under-seasoned that the leg tasted bland. Thankfully, the marshmallow dessert was still excellent. What completely ruined the night happened at the very end. I went to the washroom and encountered a massive pile of on the back of the toilet seat. When I alerted the manager, he mentioned they already knew about it and had called a cleaner. While I know the restaurant didn't cause the mess and I feel terrible for the cleaning staff, they could have locked the stall immediately to spare guests from seeing it. I was so traumatized by the sight that we paid and left right after (that couldn’t get out of my head and I couldn't sleep until 6 AM lol). Called police and lawyer on them, then they chickened out. Charged my credit card without authorization, which is fraud in HK. Due to allergies I had to make a change in my order the same day of dinning, the WhatsApp representative lady refused to accommodate with poor attitude and did not reply my further messages when asked about window seat possibility bc we were celebrating. Later we showed up on time but asked to talk to the WhatsApp lady for a simple apology. Manger refused, told us “to either eat or they will charge our card.” I said they cannot do so because I did not violate cancellation- I showed up on time etc. They ignored us for more than 30mins, refusing to negotiate politely. The short manager with glasses is truly a piece of work. We left. They charged my card on file before I got out of their elevator How desperate is this restaurant??? To risk legal repercussions for 3000hkd?? After I consulted lawyer, I went to give warning that I would sue. They refunded. Ironically I was a returning customer Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This was my third time visiting this restaurant, but unfortunately the experience keeps getting worse. When we arrived, we were seated in a corner table with very strong air conditioning blowing directly on us. The table was quite uncomfortable for our situation — there were two of us with three bags, and the space was very tight. In the past, we had always been seated in quieter and more comfortable areas of the restaurant, so this arrangement was disappointing from the start. When I mentioned that the air conditioning was too strong, the staff simply told us to turn it off ourselves instead of offering a better solution. Only after some back and forth did they finally move us to another table. It felt like the change only happened because I insisted, not because they cared about the guest experience. Another thing that stood out was the lack of explanation about the dishes. The staff only mentioned the dish names, without introducing the ingredients, the concept behind the dish, or any story about the food. In many good restaurants, especially those aiming for higher standards, staff usually explain the dishes in more detail to enhance the dining experience. The service training here clearly needs improvement. With this level of service and attention to detail, it’s hard to imagine the restaurant reaching Michelin-level standards.
