I am a huge fan of La Cuchara and have been excited to try out Seppia. I was not disappointed! I had some feelings about being in the building after the renovation. I grew up in Medfield and my mom often took me to Murphy's to do shopping, so there is a lot of sentimentality for me there. The renovation is lovely! Even with the structural changes inside, it stirred up many wonderful memories for me! We were seated on the 2nd floor which is very spacious, with exposed brick. One of our favorite servers was there, Jae. She is lovely!! Our food was incredible, served at just the right temperature for enjoyment with courses spaced perfectly. We started with the Burrata de Bufala and the Focaccia. The Burrata was amazing! The Focaccia was also delicious with a bit of heat. Next up, Rabbit Agnolotti, Fritto Misto, and Bucatini. The pasta was cooked to perfection! Dessert was the Torta Tenerina and the Semifreddo Neapolitan. The Torta was delicate and the espresso mousse was not overwhelming. The Semifreddo was smooth and creamy. Just an incredible experience with wonderful food and welcoming familiar faces. Just make sure to make a reservation so you don't miss out!! This place definitely needs some lighting ambience. Went for a late dinner at 9 o’clock, and the lights were so bright sitting at the bar that I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
