This review is in two parts, the first for the hotel, the second for the restaurant. Long story short; five stars for each. Hotel The hotel was recommended and booked for us by Bike It! Bellagio. It was great value for the location and quality. It is set back from the street (not above the restaurant and bar) spotlessly clean, modern rooms and extremely quiet. All the rooms have been recently renovated, the bathrooms are great, beds very comfortable. They are standard European size (small) but manageable with heaps of storage. Everyone on reception was so warm, welcoming and helpful and the breakfast is a standout and a great way to start a day of cycling (can recommend). Restaurant Breakfast quality is really good, with heaps of options and great coffee. We tried lunch (pasta, salads and poke bowls) and dinner a couple of times. There was good variety on the menu (lake fish and seafood pasta) and traditional meat dishes such as occobucco with risotto milanese. The reason why we kept coming back was because the quality was consistent, we loved the terrace setting, and the service was wonderful. Mauro the owner of the hotel and restaurant sets a high bar, works seven days a week and we loved his group of young employees. Staying and eating here was a highlight of our three-week trip to Italy.
