Setchan in Neyagawa is a hidden establishment located in a back alley on 2 Chome-14-15 Neya. Despite being nestled away, it has garnered attention for its offerings and the welcoming ambiance reminiscent of a traditional izakaya. Known for its hearty portions, especially the Tsukemen, patrons can enjoy an array of dishes, all complemented by a selection of alcoholic beverages and beer.
While the restaurant is not widely listed beyond a minimal Google profile, reviews suggest it as a favored spot for solo diners and locals alike. Music enthusiasts might find delight in the karaoke aspect, providing opportunities to mingle and converse with regulars. Setchan does offer table service and the convenience of reservations, but note that payments are cash only. Visitors have praised the varied menu, yet recent accolades seem scarce, leaving some aspects of the place beyond immediate insights.
Operating most evenings from 5 PM to 11 PM, except Wednesdays when it is closed, Setchan doesn’t advertise accessibility features like wheelchair-friendly facilities. Its charm lies quiet and unassuming within the cozy confines of tradition, making it an intriguing choice for those exploring Neyagawa’s dining scene. However, potential changes or updates in service remain unknown without newer information from the owners themselves.

There is volume Tsukemen 700 yen, extra 100 yen up Free rice at the end (rice will be added to the leftover soup) It's quite a large portion. The store is hard to find in a back alley, but I think it's a hidden gem. There are so many menu items that I would like to come back again. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
