Look, I'm not sure what you're doing right now. If you're anything like me you're probably laying in bed, screwing around on the internet instead of sleeping like you really, really should be. Your boss, your wife, your kids, your direct reports at the office - nobody gives you the respect you deserve. Every day just kinda smears into the next, like that great, Cosmic Painter got bored and mixed all the paints together to make that uniform, shit brown color of every finger painting. Then you remember that there's Seva Kitchen over there. Those guys can cook the shit outta anything, and the waitstaff have that way of making you feel like you're Somebody again. You get to remembering the carne asada fries you had there that time - the ones that gave you the chance to feel ALIVE for the first time since college? "What the hell," you say aloud to the people on Netflix, and your funny-smelling jerk of a cat, "why am I not there right now?" You resolve to get back to Seva Kitchen as soon as is practicable. Then, maybe this weekend you can finally clean the 'workshop' in the garage (two sawhorses and a ripped sheet of particle board isn't a workshop, Linda, and I said I'll get to it - UGH, like I don't have enough going on)...
