A drive of 31 km led us to this restaurant for lunch. This town gives me a feeling of being in Ipoh, with the many old shoplots After the customary photo taking of the restaurant's signboard, made my way in to make our orders. There's no complicated, multiple pages menu to choose my food. They only sell five dishes : bittergourd soup, vegetables, scrambled egg, herbal meat soup, ginger pork. Easy to decide, right? The bittergourd soup is their signature dish and they've been serving it for the past 30 years, strictly with charcoal fire and you'll need to wait 20 minutes for it to be served. Delicious clear soup Sprinkled some fried shallots for taste. Boss-lady is a bubbly and cheerful person and she really elevated our mood and appetite with her jokes and laughter Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 1–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
